Cherry-Wood Throwing Stick

$18.00

These "Egote" throwing sticks are made to get into tight necks and small spaces. I designed them to make small bottles easier. I pull the height and neck width of the bottle first...then expand the shape using this extra-long finger! Clay sculptors love using the round tip for adding coils to inside seams on sculptural work. The chisel tip can be used for carving and for making the flange on single piece covered jars. Approx. 13-1/2 x 3/4 x 1/2 inch.

To keep them working well; periodically oil with mineral oil and spot sand with 220 paper. See throwing stick instructional videos online at YouTube
